The latest programme on our Bolsover TV channel has now gone live.

In this programme we talk to Shirebrook Neighbourhood Allotment Group about their food parcels with a twist, we visit Bolsover Woodlands to see how they have been coping over the past few months, Rhubarb Farm make a plea for funding to help them, we announce our Contact Centres are open to the public, we launch our new sports section and we talk to Billy Eccles from Pinxton about why people think he is a hero.

Programmes are aired every two weeks and can be viewed on our website – www.bolsover.tv – we hope you enjoy watching it and we would welcome any feedback. We have also refreshed our website so the latest videos appear at the top to make it easier to find the video you are looking for.

As mentioned previously we are looking to expand our channel over the coming months and the new sports section in this programme is the first of many new initiatives we are looking at to bring you more information, more good news and more interviews about what is happening and available across Bolsover District.

The channel is not just about what we as a council are doing. It’s also about the District and our communities and we want to showcase what is happening, what community groups are available for people to join in with, what tourist attractions we have on offer, what businesses are doing and what events are taking place. So if you or you know someone that would like to be featured on a future programme of Bolsover TV then please ask them to contact me or complete the online form via our website.
